Keefe Plumbing Company, Inc. has the distinct pleasure of being a father and daughter plumbing business, which is distinct in this industry. But, we are getting ahead of ourselves.
Jack A. Keefe began Keefe Plumbing Company, Inc. out of his basement in 1950. Back in those times, a man’s word was everything or nothing, so Jack knew his reputation would win him, customers. He made trips in the hill country of North Georgia and lower Tennessee to customer’s house in an old Chevy, keeping his tools and parts where the backseat used to be, with pipes strapped across the car and attached to the bumpers. It was a tough beginning, but five years later Jack had a shop and a partner, Mike Keefe.
Jack retired and sold his interest in the company to his son, Mike. History repeated itself in 1991 when Mike’s daughter, Kay, joined the business. Kay obtained her master plumber license and became the first female master plumber in Chattanooga, TN.
Keefe Plumbing Company, Inc. now has a sprawling 10,000-square-foot building and 20 employees. We want to serve your plumbing needs and become your plumber. Please contact us today and let us add you to our list of satisfied customers.
